Meet our Doctor
Dr. Karoline Asbell, DDS
Doctor of Dental SurgeryDentistry has been Dr. Karoline Asbell's dream since she was 6 years old! She enthusiastically prepared for dental school while attending Hunter College in New York City. She was accepted into New York University College of Dentistry (NYU), receiving a fine education at one of the top dental schools in the country.
She graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2008. The experience gained in one of the largest, most diverse and challenging patient bases in the United States has served her well. She also benefited greatly while associating at the Genetic Cancer Research Institute at NYU Medical Center.
Continuing education is very important to her and she is active in advanced dental studies, and participates regularly in several dental study clubs and dental societies. Dr. Asbell's intention and focus is to deliver the highest level of care with emphasis on prevention, cosmetic enhancement and reconstructive services.
Dr. Asbell has two wonderful children. She is originally from Brazil and fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Damalyz Butler
Dental AssistantDamalyz earned her dental assisting certificate at Springfield Technical Community College.
Later, she received additional training and earned an "Expanded Functions" certificate at Nova University – a rare distinction among dental assistants. She has over 15 years of experience and is an exceptional caring and enthusiastic person.
At home Damalyz is a mother of 3 boys and loves basketball.
Karen R. Masciarella, R.D.H
Dental HygienistKaren has been a licensed dental hygienist for 18 years.
She knows how to make a patient feel like family, well cared for and relaxed. She and Dr. Asbell have worked together for many years and share the same values and work ethic.
Karen is originally from New Jersey married to her true love Ray, an attorney in North Palm Beach. They have two young adult sons. Karen loves to travel, cook and socialize.
Joan Macie
Office ManagerOriginally from Philadelphia, Joan earned her degree from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania's medical technology program.
Possessing the knowledge and capacity to help others is her greatest passion, and our patients describe her as "professional", "caring", "warm" and "experienced".
Acting simultaneously as the ambassador to our community and our director of operations, Joan is focused on assuring that we consistently provide exceptional patient care, comfort, and service.
Outside of the office her personal life is filled with children, grandchildren and travel.
